Howe Restaurant, Howe

We made a short detour to have lunch at the Howe Restaurant; cause our first dinner (last year) was so good! Again, we were more than pleased with our super clubhouse sandwich; its actually a meal for 2. Great food, friendly staff and a wonderful change from fast food. We plan on making this a regular detour on our semi-annual trips between Nova Scotia and Alberta. Next time I m trying the pizza! Rick and Josc

Fantastic pizza and very friendly owner and staff. I was staying at a local motel and ordered a pizza for delivery. As a courtesy to the delivery driver, I waited at the front door, not knowing that he was trying to phone my room. So I ended up driving to the restaurant to pick up the pizza. They had just closed. I went to the back door and told them who I was. Owner Angelo ushered me in as if I were a long lost friend. He offered me a paper plate, napkins, plastic flatware and dried hot peppers, then asked me to phone him when I got back to the motel to tell him how I liked the pizza. Needless to say, it was outstanding, and I told him so, but what made the whole situation so special was the courtesy and hospitality shown to me by Angelo. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone, and even though I live 200 miles away, I will definitely stop there again when I'm in the area.

Wow what a wonderful suprise, just off the toll road in Indiana. I just had the best pizza on the planet.I spoke with owner Angelo he described how he makes the dough by hand (no mixer) and the sauce from scratch. wow! talk about a great place to eat! the food is wonderful, the service is outstanding! and the prices are pretty good too! every time we go there to eat we are pleased. and we never wait long for our food no matter how busy it is in there! you will defently feel at ease there!~

The prices are fair, the food is great, old fashion home cooking and service is super. Give it a try and you will be happy.

This is not a gourmet place but the owner gets extremely high marks regarding value and quality-the only reason the food and amience is a tad less is because he is not a 5- star rated tablecloth restaurant- Clean, very good food and service -and NOT expensive for what you get- and you get a lot. Value and Quality- the owner gets a standing applause-

I think the prices are fair. The breakfast is always good and the people are friendly. I really like their cream of chicken and soup. The other soups are always great as well.
