Applebee's, Plymouth

ordered the grilled jalapeno lime shrimp. food was utterly inferior--rice was not cooked correctly--i still don t know if it was overdone or underdone. shrimp tasted basically all right, but the sauce and the presentation on this dish was so poor. my husband ordered the southwestern fettucine and it was all right--i have to say it was better than what i ordered. service was acceptable--she did her job. the photo of my dish was much more appealing that what i got. to top it off, instead of garnishing with a lime (which was the way it was supposed to come) mine came with a limp, freezer burnt looking piece of lemon. we don t frequent applebees because our experience has been consistenly below par over the years--but once in awhile we decide to chance it to see if they have improved at all. so far--not. these meals were slightly under 11.00 each--they were worth MUCH less.

Great place to eat and great people work there. They strive to make it better! Must've been an off day w/Eric- Of course that was 3 years ago too! I was just there this past Sunday and boy were they busy! However you don't go to a sit-down place and expect to be in and out in 15 minutes either! Most places rush you in and out but Sunday was a great experience!
