Elia's Restaurant, South Bend

I was at a conference in South Bend and was meeting a friend who was driving in from out of town. Neither of us knew South Bend restaurants and decided on Elia's based on the reviews here. It was a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. It was quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxed conversation. The food was excellent (definitely try the hummous) and the staff was friendly and efficient. I was perfectly happy with the choice.

Definitely a jewel in a market overcrowded with "me too" chain restaurants. All the above recommendations are good ones, but I also recommend the Midardra (or however you spell it) with the garlic paste. The Taboulli is also great!

This is my favorite restaurant in the South Bend area. The sweetest owner, excellent food. We've been going since we moved to the area from Toledo (known for it's Lebanese food) and we've never been disappointed.

Co-workers and I often go to Elia's. Usually once a week. The garlic paste is very addictive! the shishtawook is awesome. Try it and you'll be hooked.

My sister and I eat here regularly. We love their tabouli, baba ganoug, and garlic paste and have trouble ordering anything different. (they know when we walk in the door, what we want to eat)

I have eaten here many times. The food is always good and plentiful. This place has a very warm and freindly atmoshpere. The service is great and all of the people there are very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant.
