Amazing. I call to order a pizza and when they pick up the phone they say jj s hold not thank you for calling jj s please hold, just jj s hold. How impersonal can one be. I am sure it is not the proper way to answer the phone. After a couple of minutes a guy gets on the phone and says jj s pick up or deliver and I said pick up, He then asks for my number and I give it to him, place my order and then he says pick up or delivery? Really did he not get I already said pick up. I really want to know what kind of drugs they are on because this is not my first encounter with them. I just never wrote a review. However I guess I should have and then maybe their phone ethics would be better lol
The pizza there is fantastic!!! I do agree with some of the reviewers regarding the customer service there, however, this IS a pizza place not a law firm.....no professional degree required. When calling with a complaint, keep in mind the quality of people in which you are dealing with. Try using your OWN set of manners to set a better tone and maybe you will get what you want. the customer servive needs some improvement but has no bearing on the taste of the food. I have ordered from them for many years and will continue to do so.
I ordered a pizza from J&J's pizza and asked the phone attendant what type of meats were available that were non pork products. She informed me that beef sausage, peperoni and Italian beef were available. I reaffirmed that I can not have pork so was she sure about the beef sausage and her answer was yes. Subsequently I found out minutes later when calling to confirm that beef sausage was not available and I had to either pay for another pizza, because the one was already made or take the one that was ready. I informed the attendant that I told her I could not eat pork and could they make another pizza since it was already paid for. she told me no it could not be done so I asked for a manager. When she went to get the manager on the phone I overheard the attendant telling the manager her version so that she may seem as she was the victim. The manager got on the phone with an attitude already, which caused me to get angry. She said that they would make the pizza over and would have to charge my card again but the first charge was voided and would not come off my account for a few days. I told her no why would if have to wait a few days when the order was just made 10 minutes prior. She stated the attendant said she could not here me and did not understand I could not eat pork. When I told the manager It was not acceptable when I knew what I had explained to the attendant she said well I am not going to argue about this and hung up on me. If this is the business that is being conducted in Portage then I was in great error moving out here. I thought the service was suppose to generate return business but never again and I will let everyone know this as well.
BEST PIZZA! I would give anything for a Large Extra Cheese, Mushroom, Onion and green pepper pizza right now! I have been living in South East Texas for the past two years...and They don't know what Pizza is down here! Your stuff is amazing! :)

This place sucks. The ingredients in their food is supposed to be high quality but the finished product stinks.
Poor management, the owners are never in-store and clueless as to the way the store is run.
The owners need to sacrifice one vacation and take care of there business or give the employees a raise so they can run a business the way it should be run. Either that or retire.
Probably the best pizza place in the city. We have been orderning from JJs for years and their stuffed pizza is out of this world! Unlike any other pizza I have ever had, the toppings, sauce and crust are all delicious. I definitely recommend.
