sentimental favorite so they get automatic bonus points. pizza is tasty and reheats well (as opposed to reheating papa johns or dominos, definitely not an inspiration for leftovers). ordered a combination type pizza, wife wondered why i didn't order anything with vegetables -- veg items on pizza were very skimpy, couldn't even see them without searching for them. taco seasoning comes in a plastic package, like mustard in a chinese restaurant. this lessens the dining experience -- it would be much more alluring if that type of food prep was done in the kitchen instead of creating a 'fast food' feeling and thereby cheapening the dining experience. crust was very good, not too heavy and had a crispiness to it, just right. i like a bit more seasoning in the sauce but it's good. i'm partial to a little heavy on the garlic and herbs. cheeses are good and sausage has a nice spiciness to it.
like i said, albanos is a sentimental favorite, and it's a good pizza on its own, so i'm sure i'll be back. but if it weren't for being a sentimental favorite, i'd likely be exploring mich city for the best pizza it can offer.
