OK, I have been here a couple of times and calling this place tex mex is like calling taco bell tex mex....the food is mediocre...the beef they use in the burritos or chimmis is fatty and not a great texture....it has very littel flavor and on top of that, the past couple of time I have been there, I have had the same server....wish I knew his name so I could post it...he s horrible...never says hello...just walks up with his note pad in his hand and says do you know what you want....never bring a drink refil unless you flag him down and is all around just a bd server...I used to be a server, so I get it s not a great job...but it s a job...do you job....there s very little reason to go back.
I was a little hestitant about this place just because I'm spoiled by the way my husband, who is mexican, cooks for me. When we first walked in I mean right from the start the service was excellent. Then when we got our food and it was amazing. I would definately make the trip from Kentucky to eat there again.
OK, it's getting hard to find a Mexican Restaurant in Indianapolis?
This place is really first rate. Prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent.
My favorite dish is, The Ismael. A chicken and shrimp dish that will have you coming back for more.
The service, the food, and the margaritas are all excellent. This is the real deal mexican! The staff are some of the most service oriented I have ever experienced.
Just a wonderful experience every time!
