Great food, great wait staff, Great setting. We eat here often and I must say we have never had a meal that we were not happy with. Four of us arrived at 6:05 with no reservations and were told it would be 15 or 20 min. wait. At 6:15 our buzzer went off and we were seated. We were very satisfied.
Made reservations for 8:45, we were seated immediately! They even gave us a booth for six even though there were just two of us. Waitress was not super speedy, she was not slow, I'd say her service was just right. She was helpful but not intrusive on our evening. Might have been best if she could have checked back a couple more times, but she was very efficient and knowledgable.
Started with the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, WOW! Super spicy and tasty! Warm bread was served and it made for a nice little table side presentation when our waitress mixed the olive oil with the pesto paste to create our dip for the bread.
My wife ordered a Mojito that was loaded with fresh mint and lime, she was very satisfied. I had one bottle of beer and one draft. Drinks came very quickly each time.
My cup of seafood chowder and my wife's salad came next. Salad was the best my wife has ever had, very fresh ingredients. The field greens are a little bitter, but we prefer our salads that way. Chowder was good, but tasted a little dull after the spicy shrimp appetizer (but anything would taste bland after that). Very nice consistency and the seafood portion in the soup was generous.
We split the Ahi Tuna for dinner and also shared a lobster tail. The lobster was a pinch underdone, but dipped in the drawn butter it was glorious! We ordered the tuna mid-rare and it was cooked perfectly.
Had the key lime pie for desert and get this, the crust appeared to be a mix of graham crackers and PECANS! It was terrific.
Only disappointment was in learning that Bonefish is a chain owned by the same group that owns Outback. We really try to frequent sole proprietorships, but I have to tip my hat to Bonefish, they've really earned their stripes.
A very good thing we witnessed was the orchestration of the whole dining experience. Waitstaff/barstaff/food runners all work seemlessly together to provide a truly great dining experience.
5 stars for food, 4 stars for service, 5 stars for ambience, highly recommended.
Food was excellent and the price was good. The wait however, was ridiculous. We had reservations for 8pm and did not get seated until 9:15pm. This is mainly because our name was crossed off the list without being told. Once this was realized we were seated right away.
Would highly recommend because the food is excellent. Full of flavor. Atmosphere nice but somewhat crowded. Prices kinda steep too for what you get. Service can be better. Waiters need to check back at tables more often. Sometimes they get busy and forget things.
