i've been ordering pizza's from randy's since they we're downtown...that is 42 years worth & still ordering , you might have to wait a bit, but it is so worth it...i'm into quality & some of you are about quanity. you get what you pay for .
they catered our wedding too !
If I ever encounter rude people at Randy's, it's the other customers. Lighten up people! It's a small, family owned and operated business. Few people can only work so quickly when they're busy. They obviously work hard to keep it in the family and to keep their pizza original. I've been told they cook the pizzas on the bricks too. So they're not on some conveyor belt, so yeah, it's going to take a bit longer to get a better pizza. Randy's isn't like the franchises that have their food sitting around waiting on you to show up and get it.
While the pizza is OK, I have had repeated bad experience there with the staff. Simply, they were rather rude and acted as if I had done something wrong to them for having to wait for a pizza that was supposed to be done 30 minutes earlier. I had this type of experience once and vowed not to return, but after a year I thought I would give them another try--and again the experience was the same. So, another year goes by and the same type of experience - long wait for a pizza and they acted rude to me. The pizza is decent but the service is poor. Some education on common courtesy or customer service was probably be helpful.
i have eaten randys pizza for as long as i can remember...and i am 24.. our favorite pizza to get is sausage and onion...i know i know...sounds bad, but it is so delicious!! i typically get wings to go along with my pizza...the breadsticks are also very good!! i would recommend everyone to at least TRY their pizza...even if you have had a bad experience with the person on the other end of the phone...i have never had a bad experience!! GO THERE!!
The pizza is very good, but the other items on the menu as the subs(giant bun with very little ingrediants),the fried chicken(very tiny pieces, and burnt to a crisp),are best left alone. Also good luck picking your food up without the man or woman who run the place grouching to you about something. There are too many other good pizza places to be treated badly like we have been here,so will never go back there again.
Randys pizza in Wanamaker has the best pizza ever. My family has been getting pizzas from them since 1959. We have several friends that drive along way to get there pizza. They buy extra and freeze them. It is a family owned pizza place with the best sauce ever....they have sandwiches and dinners. Something for everyone.
Try it sometime!
Randy's has absolutely the best pizza anywhere in the world! We now live in Florida but when we visit Indy we make Randy's a must visit. If you like onions on your pizza and fabulous sauce, try it. You will NOT be disappointed.
