I just recently visited the Jazz Kitchen for the first time. There was a cover credit for $10.00 person and a $15 drink minimum. If you are seated in the back you cannot see the stage. I did order a brownie dessert it was great. The band was a Latin guy with saxophone and horn player, however the saxophone and horn player were great. I will not be in any rush to go back to this place.

PLUS..the band didn't even start on time!..Did get my cover back (minus the $2 I got charged for using a debot card ??WHAT??)..and 2 free covers for another date..but who really wants to go back after all of that??? If you are in Indy and want to try something different, go to the Jazz Kitchen. The food is great and the music will keep you entertained all night. If you already ate somewhere else just go and listen to the music. I doubt you will find a better time for around 10 dollars a person. Will go again!

Excellant Combination of flavors
Between the music and the cuisine, this place is truly spirited with a bit of Creole

Great place for drinks and dancing
So I went to the Jazz Kitchen on Latino/Latina night not knowing what to expect and I must say, it is a GREAT place. I learned how to salsa and meringe and met some people who were cool and down to earht. I did not believe that it would be as many African Americans there but when I walked in, the men and the women were out there getting there salsa on. I was very glad that I made this choice. I even ran into a classmate from high school (small world), but again, the drinks are reasonable, the atomsphere is nice and the club stayed packed. There is only one downside (too small). But for the size and the crowd, there was ABSOLUTELY NO TROUBLE!!!

I went for the first time to see the Yellowjackets and the atmosphere was so out of this world! Everyone who loves jazz and wants a romantic and cozy spot, must go to the jazz kitchen!
