I was disappoint when I went Thursday. The food was cold. We had to get up and ask for more food and drinks. They set around and talk. To top it off we were the only ones in there two adults and 1 kid and a baby. The service was bad a customer walked out. And the price is ridiculously! $42.50 NEVER AGAIN!

It was okay, I've tasted better soul food. I never had a piece of tomato and an onion in my collard greens before.

AWESOME FOOD! Great prices! Next review is just a bit sour... just because filthyrich is filthyrich he doesnt think that just like ALL restaurants a party over 8 gratuity is ALWAYS included... look at the bottom of all menus! He had 10... wow, what a scum bag! The people who serve here are always nice and super helpful. This is probably one of the best finds anywhere in indy!

What you mean good food. The food here is great. I go every Sunday after the word.

Great sunday night dinner. Smothered fried chicken so good, meat falls off the bones. Mac and cheese, greens, green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. Sweet tea just like home. Served family style had plenty left over to take home. Will try the ribs next time we come back. We will have to remember cash only.

The food is amazing and the service is great. Our favorites are the ribs and fried chicken...and the hot water cornbread can't be beat. Make sure to save room for some pecan pie!

Food is deliscious and the perfect place to reintroduce your tastebuds to all the goodness grandma used to feed you when you were agrowing boy!

I eat there every friday night when i get off of work. The food is delicious and they give you plenty of food. When i order out, you get 4 sides with the meat and the food is ready as soon as i get there and i live 2 minutes away; also, i have enough food to eat the next day. When you eat inside the restaurant, it's all you can eat. I recommend the fried chicken (white meat), sweet potatoes, mac'n' cheese, mashed potatoes and especially the greens and hot water cornbread. the cornbread is sooo good that i have to order extra when i go. The sweet tea is delicious too. This place is also good for large groups of people and for families.TGIF!!!!!!! :)
