Really really great food. If you are going out looking for atmosphere, this is NOT the place, but the food is awesome!

I've lived in Southern Italy for years and how I miss the food there. Iaria's sauce is most comparable to what I had there and tops all others that I've tried here in Indy. I can drink it right out of the cup!!! and then another with my meatball :) The Grouper Piccata with capers is to die for!!! You've got to try the antipasta salad and you'll find yourself here weekly. (I brought some italian friends from Calabria Italy there last week and there eyes rolled to the back of there heads when they took a bite of the antipasta salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal and one said " the meatball taste just like my mom's Eccellente!!!!

I took my husband here for his birthday. We did not have reservations, but we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and brought us warm Italian bread and our drinks within a couple of minutes. I ordered the Penne with marinara and my husband ordered the shrimp linguine dinner. His salad came out and it was ordinary. He said the Italian dressing was very good. We waited quite awhile for our entrees, but they did come out eventually. My penne was very good. Not sweet like some other reviews say. I could tell by looking at my husbands linguine that it was dried out. It was stuck together due to not using oil. There was hardly any sauce on the pasta and he said it had no flavor. The shrimp were very big and that is all that he ate out of it. I am Italian American and always looking to support local business, but I will have to pass on this one. I think I will go to Milano Inn next time. Even Romano's Macaroni Grill does a better job!

We were in Indy for the weekend and our hotel recommended this for a "mom n pop" Italian restaurant. It was a pain to find...you have to know your way around the one-ways. We didn't realize that it was advisable to make reservations but they sat us anyway but they couldn't make room for a high chair for our 18 month old....but we made due. The wait to just get drinks and bread was ridicilously long, we waited almost 20 minutes before anyone even approached our table. They offered a menu for a $30.00 meal that feeds two, you got a salad, choice of three entrees and a dessert. WAAAAYYYY over priced! The salad for two was only bigh enough for one, and the servings of the entrees were also very small. I will say the Manicotti was very good but the portions were very small, I can to go to The Hill in St Louis and get a single meal and get more food than we got for the meal for two for a far better price....and I don't have to wait 20 minutes for someone to realize you've been sitting there.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Indianapolis. The food is always good, and it is a family friendly atmosphere. My husband and I always order an Around the World Pizza, and an order of garlic bread with sauce. The pizza is a very thin crust, and I've never tasted another one like this at any restaurant. The antipasta salad is also very good. Be prepared to wait on a Friday or Saturday night.

Absolutely great, and my favorite Indianapolis Italian resturant. Still in the Iria family and you feel like you have stepped back in time when you dine here. Very cool place, with glass block windows from the 50's and red leather booths. This is a favorite resturant of Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Indiana. And don't be suprised if you see local Bobby Plump, the real person who made the final shot for Milan H.S. (Hickory) depicted in the movie "Hoosiers"

It's a must visit--I'm not from Brooklyn or anything, just an Indy native, and if you're like me and would pick a mom&pop joint over a chain any day, then you've gotta eat here. Plus it's a little bit of Indy history, and the pasta is actually reealy good. Try the vodka sauce, I love it!
