My favorite Chinese Restaurant in the Dayton Metropolitan Area. I personally think the General Tso's Chicken is the best dish they serve, it is also my favorite. Wonderfully China Dynasty is a small-business and I will continue to support their wonderful food and business every time I crave Chinese food.
I decided to stop in during my lunch hour and pick up carry out.
I ordered General Tso chicken off the lunch menu. This has to be the worst Chinese food I have ever had! The chicken was all fat and the sauce was paste, the fried rice was hard and dry, I tried eating the crab ragoon but couldnt manage it due to the rubber texture and all the food had that old grease taste and smell. This place was TERRIBLE!

I don't find this restaurant to be upscale in any sense of the word. It is nicely decorated and yes, they do have tablecloths, but so do many others. The recipes here are good, and when asked, they will make an effort to reduce the fat. The Thai recipes are hardly worth mentioning since they tend to be bland and overly sweet, especially the Pad Thai. Upon complaining of the blandness when requesting very spicy, they claimed they would use Thai chiles. But next time, it still was not very spicy, and still too sweet. I could make better myself at home, and I am not even Thai. Sorry.
Billed as a Chinese restaurant, it's actually owned by a Thai couple who have done an excellent job of mixing the more familiar Chinese with the more interesting Thai dishes. Good selection of alcohol. Nice dining ambiance (table-cloth ambiance).
