J. Alexander's is a contemporary American restaurant, known for its wood-fired cuisine. Our core philosophy is to provide you with the highest possible quality dining experience. The menu features a wide selection of American classics including prime rib of beef, steaks, fresh seafood, sandwiches and entrA(C)e salads. The menu in each restaurant includes a varied and rotating selection of features like Seafood Czarina, Tuscan Steak, Grilled Fish with Mango Papaya Salsa and Chicken Milanese. The restaurant has a full-service bar that includes an outstanding selection of wines both by the glass and bottle.

J.Alexanders is one of my favorite restaurants when Im trying to impress the ladies...Located in Rookwood Pavillion its location alone says a lot. They have the best salad LOL...that they serve with their own fresh baked croissants...Also if you dont mind spending 24 dollars for the filet mignon its excellent. This is a spot that you go to when u want to get away from the burgers and fries.

You will get what you pay for

Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. The bar is a good spot for a cocktail or other libation. The wine list is better than average. The menu leans toward the carnivorous, bu there are some very tasty non-cow offerings, including an excellent Caesar Salad (that can be topped with a number of things). A night out with friends or more-than-friends would be well served by a visit.

I've only been to the one San Antonio Texas. But it really is a nice place. Very intimate. Great food. The service was nice. Once I had to track my server down but it was all good nonetheless. A great place for a adte for sure. Just don't go out with a cheapskate!!!

I have eaten here twice, and I must say, the smoked salmon was the best I've ever tasted. The Red Snapper on rice was exquisit. When I get back to cincy I intend eating there again. ------ and I can't wait.

We love J. Alexanders! My kids enjoy the free soft drinks while you wait and they love the steaks. My husband and I enjoy the great wine selection and delicous fresh fish and steaks. We go almost once a week!!

i've eaten at several 'j's' and the cincinnati location doesn't hold a candle. the service is ok, however my main complaint has always been the food. each time i've eaten there (steak) it has come to the table quickly but is ALWAYS ice cold. the bar is ok, if you like snobby stuck-on-themselves businessman types. i
