This restaurant is not what it cracked up to be. I've traveled all over the country and their ribs are nothing special. The ribs are average. I would have given them 3 stars for the ribes but I decided to give them 1 star because they only have valet parking.
The restaurant is in an area of town where street parking is not allowed. They have a large parking lot and there is no purpose to the valet parking at all. Normally I see in some locations that valet parking is necessary if the valets have to park the car somewhere far away but in this case all they do is park in the same lot that you could have done yourself. The only purpose of the valet is to give an artificial appearance of this restaurante being high end. The valets were not careful with the cars and I saw a valet actually scrape somebodys car by parking off center in a space.
They should really give you a choice to valet or not to valet. I have a policy of deducting 1 star for any hotel or restaurant that does not offer a choice to valet or not. I also deduct another star if I notice that the valets aren't careful with other people's cars.
I would have given them 3 stars but the choice of valets and the lack of care in driving the cars caused this to be a 1 star review.
PostScript: There are a number of rib places in New York, Ft. Wayne, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Jose, and Orlando that are a lot better than this. The so-called Saratoga Chips are just thick potatoe chips. The locals are crazy about this place but the best I can figure out is that many of them have not travelled out of state and see what else there is. For example there is a beautiful building in Covington, KY across the river called the Ascent designed by the Freedom Tower architect but most locals think it is ugly. Again these are the comments of people who are not well travelled and have not see much of the rest of the world.
