I LOVE THE PLACE! This is my favorite chinese place hands down and I've lived all over the country in most of the big cities (LA, NYC, Phoenix, Nashville, Austin, Dallas)
I've been eating at Manchu Cafe for around 8-9 years. I moved away about 4 years ago and whenever I come back to town, I go there. The egg rolls are awesome. Before I moved away I would go there almost everyday for lunch. The food is always consistently good. I have taken many people there over the years and it has always gone over well. The owners know a lot of the people that come in and THAT tells you people love it enough to come back.
I usually get the Egg Foo Young dish or the General Szo chicken. If there is one thing they are not good at, it's their deserts. They have a huge assortment of pies, but they are not so great. But hey, they make it up 10 times over with their main dishes and egg rolls... ohh... the egg rolls!
The food is good but the place needs a good cleaning. You can tell what the person who ate before you when you sit down at your booth or table. More attention needs to be taken to the floor since it looks like most people need a trough to eat from instead of a plate. Owners are not very good about talking to customers who have children who can't sit still and disturb other diners. The bathrooms STINK and need deordorized and cleaned correctly. The place is a cluttered mess with passageways full of cardboard boxes scattered everywhere. The eggrolls are good for store bought eggrolls they are made by a company called Ming.
