Malabar Inn Restaurant, Perrysville

This is my favorite restaurant in town, hands down!!! Sitting on the deck in the summer is wonderful, I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always excellent. Try the ice tea it is fabulous!! Note: If you want to have a glass of wine or beer on Sunday they do not have a Sunday alcohol license so this will not be the place to go. I have made this mistake a few times.

By far the best around! My wife and I are from Southern CA with European heritage and Malabar brings a taste of home to our lips. We've been here 2 1/2 years and have yet to find anything comparable in North Central OH. Are you thinking about spending $8-10 on a burger? Beef it up with one of Malabar Inn's amazing choices like the Wild Country Bleu Burger. Or you can take it up a few notches with the Filet Mignon Chasseur (this is my favorite). Have an appetite for mushrooms? All of Malabar's mushrooms are hunted locally from the forests of Mohican and the surrounding areas. Chef Dan is brilliant in the kitchen and out. My compliments to the chef and the lovely staff at Malabar Farm Restaurant. 9/17/10 - Last night I regaled with the Maytag Bleu Filet Mignon with a glass of Chateau Brassac Bordeaux....Magnifique!

They have possibly the best burgers in the state. their ice cream is phenomenal, and I have yet to see anybody even close to unsatisfied at the restaurant. The service is pretty darn good too.
