The broasted chicken that this restaurant serves is the best I have ever tasted. The skin is wonderfully crispy and the meat is moist and delicious. Buckets for carry out are available and come with jojos and cole slaw.
Stumbled on this restaurant while looking for another. Thought I'd keep it simple and just order a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was decent, but not really a standout. The bun was nicely toasted. The tomato they put on there was reminiscent of something you would get in February, not August. Kind of pale and pathetic looking.
The fries were a mixture of very good and not so good. These are home-cut style fries, although I didn't ask if they cut them there. The crispier ones were great, but others were kind of limp and oily, not so good.
However, for $4.75, it's hard to complain for a decent lunch. The service was quick and felt very diner-esque. I'll definitely go back, but maybe I'll try something else on the menu.
