Better Half Family Diner, Sandusky

We were rained out of Cedar Point looking for a place to eat. With a father who LOVES to find local places who better to call. He found the Better Half on the internet but it was closed by the time we were looking for food. So, we went for breakfast the next day instead. Very busy restraunt down closer to the lake away from the Point. Large menu with great specials and good prices. Typical diner favorites from Sausage and Gravy to the not so typical Pecan panckakes. Definitely very good food and very worth seeking out when you are in town. I highly suggest the corn beef hash, it was the best!

I found this place off of yahoo locals, and found it to be great. Its a bit out of the way, but deff worth the 5 minutes. I had the pecan pancake , YUMMY. Very cute small place, with a cafe/ice cream place attached. A must for anyone looking for breakfast.

It may take some time to find the Better Half, but when you do it is well worth it! The food is excellent and you couldn't find a better price. The diner may be small, but it worth waiting for an empty table. I suggest the pancakes for breakfast. I have never tasted anything so good before! Joe loves the Taco Salad. This is defiantly a favorite of Joe and I. Go and try the place, you'll know I'm right!
