Please add more organic choices. For a grocery store of this size there are limited organic choices - produce in particular. Walmart has as many or more organic choices in produce. As a tried and true Buehler's shopper don't make me cross the street... Everything else I love....
Buehlers has many items you can't find in other grocery stores; like prime beef, excellent produce, a great deli and cheese area, terrific coffees, superior bakery, truly fresh seafood, a UPS and photo store as well as a good family style restuarant; to name a few.
Can't find something? Just ask an associate and he or she will find it for you. That's the way Walmart was supposed to be; not anymore.
Worried about prices? Check Buehlers' weekly newspaper insert and unadvertised specials. Many of the items in the insert or unadvertised are less than Walmart.
Then there's the environment. You won't find people crowding the isles taking an enormous amount of time to make decisions while blocking your access to the product you want.
Then there's Buehlers' newly expanded wine department. While they have all the better know wines (Sutter Home, Beringer, Troutman, etc.), this is not your typical grocery store wine department. They have a large selection of exceptional wines in virtually any price range and they have knowledgeable people who are willing to help you make your selection.
I've lived in Wooster for more than four years and I can't find a reason, on an everyday basis, to shop anywhere else.
We received a small fruitcake as a Christmas gift.
It is absolutely wonderful!! I wish I knew if we could
get more fruitcake some place close to Troy, MI.
I have not had such wonderful fruitcake since my mother's
homemade. I know all the jokes about Christmas fruitcake,
but this from Buehlers Towne Market would change a few
I agree, their prices are not high and you can get a Buehler's Advantage card on your first visit and save anywhere from 3-19% on your bill depending on what you buy. I've shopped there for years and love the place. They usually have a good selection of meat and their 5/$19.95 meat deals are always a great savings. The salad bar is pretty good and they have a great selection of cheeses (some from the Amish) and their in-store bakery has some of the best baked goods you'll ever eat. Check 'em out, you'll probably go back again and again.
Prices are a bit high here, the food is ok service is generally pretty good, I would head to the orrville location, the wooster location has horrible service and poor food its amazing how much diferrence there is so if youve had a bad experience at one of the other locations give orrville a try you will be amazed!
