I am a female business traveler... so I am always looking for a restaraunt with good wine, good food and a friendly staff in a safe local. I found all of the above here... I reccommend it to anyone. Excellent. :-)
This is a fabulous restaurant. The entire staff is so friendly, you are treated like you have been going there for years. Our waiter, Adam, was very attentive and courteous. I had halibut with a banana butter cream sauce that was very pleasant and very different. I give the chef kudos for this unlikely combination. Other patrons that I observed were all treated very well. The staff appears to be trained to pay special attention. Fellow server, Mike, is very wine savy, too. We will be back.
Had been to the restaurant under old owners. Heard about new takeover. Decided to give it a try. This place is tops! It made our evening. I had the oven baked potato crusted scrod. Yum! Yum! Husband had pork chop. Done to perfection. Bruscetta with goat cheese started off the evening. Will definitely go back and will talk it up with everyone!
As a Bistro customer for years I must say that I am very impressed with the direction that the new owners have taken the place. It is truly the upscale gem that the area has been begging for. The place is beautiful. The reception was warm and the servers were very professional.
My dinner started with a Goat Cheese Bruschetta appetizer. I was impressed with the presentation and even more so with the flavor. A very nice to start the meal. My date couldnt decide between the garlic shrimp pasta and the chicken picatta. She was impressed with the picatta over linguini. I went with the Monster Pork chops, and I must say that they were monsters, but cooked to perfection. Complimenting my meal was a pair of potato cakes. Fried potato seasoned with something good, couldnt put my finger on it. Our salads were brought out first. The dressings are all homemade I had the french poppy seed. Very nice.
Our dinners were cooked and presented very well. The bill came to around 40 dollars. Quite a value for the quality.
Over all the expierence was a well awaited success. It was refreshing to see the Bistro fulfill a much needed place in a growing market.
