Ricky's English Pub consistenly serves great food. Whenever we have visitors from out of town, we choose Ricky's and are never let down.
The fish, whether fried or baked, is delicious. Other menu items have been equally as good too. (Be sure to try the lobster bisque.) The portions are large (often enough for take-home) and the prices are reasonable.
The back room is also an ideal spot for a large group of people.
We all love Ricky's Its a fun place with a little bit of class that you don't usually see in a small town- Ricky is cool and he does everything with some panache. Always a nice crowd in the evenings and weekends- good place to meet friends.
This was my first visit to Ricky's English Pub and it will not be my last. Service at first was slow, it seems I walked in and sat myself just as the servers were having a small discussion. A few minutes went by and I was waited on and service was not an issue for the rest of my visit. I ordered the fish & chips with coleslaw. Food service was fast, the fish was lightly battered and HUGE! The taste was great! The slaw however was unimpressive, not bad, just not out of the ordinary. All in all I had a great meal at a great price and I was glad I had chosen to eat at Ricky's English Pub.
We always have to stop at Ricky's English Pub for a fabulous lunch! We only make it back to Salem maybe twice a year, but my kids always look forward to getting a cheeseburger, hotdog and amazing fries at Ricky's!! My personal favorite is the sweet potato fries and crab cakes! Yummy. Plus, you are treated just like family while you're there. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly and personable owner and staff. A definate Welcome Home to anyone stopping by for lunch, dinner or a few drinks with friends.
