Emidio & Sons Italian Rstrnt, Akron

My family and I used to get Emidios Pizza all of the time. Now that we have moved to NC, we cant get it anymore. I was thinking about contacting them to see if they wanted to franchise it down here in Charlotte because I miss it so much.

I can't even give this place 1 star. Talk about rip off, this is the epitome. sausage on half and mushrooms on the other half of a sheet should not equal two toppings. yet that's how they charged me. the pizza is so-so to start with, so this makes it totally undesirable. i will never get pizza from there again, and we order a lot of pizza.

We got the chicken and jojos last night. I was eating the chicken, and suddenly noticed it was raw in the middle. I have been sick all morning. We called, and all they said was "Ok thanx". I will never eat their food again, and will be calling the health department first thing Tuesday morning.

The chicken and jojo's are the best! Lots of good food at a good price!!!

Moved to Columbus. Miss this pizza sooooo much. Really wish they would choose to open one up down here. They would be the hottest thing in town. NOTHING can come close to compareing Emidio's

Emidio's has a few really good things going for it: 1). The pizza is very, very good. 2). The price is very reasonable. 3). They are open late at night, for us night owls. 4). The staff is friendly and efficient. The only real negative was stated in prior reviews: The neighborhood is a little sketchy, and there are a few strange charaters hanging around, at times. If they had a place to sit and eat, the exceedingly overrated Luigi's wouldn't stand a chance.

Fantastic pizza. Very polite workers. I love the old-style, atmosphere. They even showed me the pie to confirm my order when I picked it up. Great hours 9:00 a.m.-3:00 a.m. daily. Only request: please set up a web site so others can read about what a great company and restaurant this is.

This place is always very busy because the food is so good. They have pizzas, of course (though I would stay away from the sausage--sometimes the chunks are way too big for the pizza), and they have all kinds of pasta and other Italian specialties. The sauces are homemade and everything is done in the kitchen in the back, nothing is bought premade. They often have advertised specials and deals, which make the low prices even better. PROS: Great homemade Italian food CONS: Sometimes the sausage is too big on the pizza

Emidio's Pizza is by far the best in Akron, not the most appealing looking pizza parlor, but the ingredients are A+ with no extra "%#&#^ and no sugar in the sauce, as well as the best hand tossed crust. If you want sweet, red, pastry like, sugar rich sauce, don't come here. If you want original, great, italian style pizza, with real ingredients, Emidio's on North Main Street and Tallmadge is second to none.. Keepin it real.......

Amidio's is a great place to get some classic "urban" Italian late-night. Outrageous deals and the best White Pizza I've ever had make Amidio's a top-choice. Its in a rather sketchy area and there are often some odd folks hanging around the parking lot, but I've never had a bit of trouble.
