This pizza is perfect. It has a way of melting in your mouth, and every topping you can think of is quality. That crust has great texture, it's not like the chewy kind you get from national chains. The prices, the prices are soo low I thought the guy was joking when he told me what my total was. There really is no dining area and it's a very drab enviroment, you just grab your pizza and go. But with pizza like that, and at those prices ... you'll be taking off like you stole something.
I grew up on this pizza. This is what pizza is supposed to taste like.
The crust is real crust, not the cardboard tasting franchise pizza crust. The meats are great and that cheese. We would drive up from Columbus to get this stuff
I feel bad for people that live in South Akron. Do you drive north, through downtown, to Luigi's? Or do you drive south, through Coventry, to Guiseppes? They really are the only two choices in town, and I happen to live closer to Guiseppes. They serve real toppings and plenty of them. (some to most chains use powdered cheese and dehydrated/canned toppings) Greasy cheese and doughy crust... the perfect combination that pizza hut got backwards. With their prices, they don't really need specials, either. Which is why they don't have them. I sure do wish they delivered. They don't at all.
We live about 45 min. from Guiseppe's. We go there for pizza frequently. His recipe is unbeatable and different from any other pizza we have had. Worth the trip and the money. Speaking of money, great pricing!
