George's Kitchen, Cleveland

George's Kitchen is a longtime Cleveland and NE Ohio landmark and GEM! My parents have been taking me there since I was a child, and now take my kid there often. The food is excellent and inexpensive, with a great selection, and it is served quickly. Frankly, I don't know how George can charge so little for so much. Why is he charging 80's prices? Anyway, I feed a family of 3 dinner for under 20 bucks! No kidding! The servers are professional and truly nice, so I always leave them a good tip. George is always there to greet customers, which adds a nice, personal touch to our dining experience. The atmosphere is a cross between a classic American diner and a finer restaurant, and I love the decor and cleanliness. I am reluctant to tell more people about George's because I don't want it to be crowded when I go there to eat!

Thank The Lord for George's Kitchen! Money has been trickling in for our "mom & pop" business, and I have to say in general it is cheaper to eat at George's than it is to cook and eat at home. After all day at the office my father and I eat there a few times a week and were home by 7pm. When I cook were done eating by 9pm (still have the mess to clean). And no way can I cook a meal for two of 3 pork chops each plus tators & veggies, soup AND salad for under $12. As for the yelling that's typical of certain cultures. Like us we are Italian's and we sometimes get a little loud, but it's all about the Love =)

The food is not bad but I CAN NOT belive how George and Michael treat the waitresses. Talk about atmophere, all you hear is their yelling and disrespectful mouths. I've gone there for a long time but i'm finished. I want some quiet when I eat.

Faster and less expensive than McDonalds. w/e have been going here for over 20 years and it is an assett to our area, Great service, quick, clean, and fresh food. Thank you, George's

lighten up you snobs, it IS a greasy spoon, but the food is plentiful and cheap. If you want to fill you belly for not a lot of money Georges is it!!

I love George's Kitchen!!!! I have been going there for years and there is no other place like it. The prices are unbeatable...you can get a 3 course meal for 5 or 6 bucks. The food could be better, but for the price I have no complaints! Its a real neighborly, hometown, place. I only wish they were open 24hrs.

The food is all grease. Owner George is rude and treats his employees like trash in front of customers. do not eat there unless you want a plate of grease when you leave even your face will be coated with grease

I'm glad George's is there, but I would never mistake it for anything except a greasy spoon. Usually crowded, tables are often greasy and so is the food. I like it, because I like greasy spoons, but it isn't a very good restaurant.

We've been eating at George's for a few years now. I've recommended it to everyone I know. We go there at least once a week. Tons of good food, can't beat the price anywhere and everyone is very friendly - they remember you, and that is always nice. I would say the very best place around for family type dinners.

I've been driving past George's for years, but never stopped in. I finally stopped in and was in for a real treat. Everything was excellent. The service, food, atmosphere were very down home. I can't wait to go back!
