A Beautiful Experience
I recently took my parents to Mon Ami for their anniversary. It was my second visit, the first being over 2 years ago for their Saturday night buffet. On that visit, we took a tour of the winery, sampled a tasting, and ate from their fabulous buffet. Though pricey, the food was delicious! Their were several choices of meat including prime rib, rainbow trout (from the Lake), salmon, stuffed pork chops and shrimp. They had a nice salad bar, many, many side dishes, and a desert table to die for! Cherries Julibee Flambout (sp) was also served and made right before your eyes.
For the recent visit, we went to the Sunday brunch. It was equally delicious. There were chefs there to make an omelet to your liking, waffles, crepes, prime rib, trout, breakfast meats, the salad bar, shrimp, potato dishes, and a desert table which included cream puffs and 3 inch thick cheesecake. On this particular weekend, they were celebrating Octoberfest, so there were entertainers (musical groups and dance troupes) as well as vendors for a variety of crafts. They also had a display for a local animal rescue team, which brought a very large bald eagle, several owls and many reptiles.
A great time was had by all! I would highly recommend Mon Ami.
