after reading the above reviews i figured id try mr wok. Wish i never did!! I just moved here from uptown westerville, and anybody that knows good Chinese knows lucky house is the best!!! truly ive ate a lot of Chinese and no one compare to lucky house, it might cost more and be 5 more minutes away but deffinately worth my time. I got sesame chicken and crab rangoon at mr wok. the chicken was of poor quality and way Way over cooked! and like any other bad chinese restraunt they just throw sesame seeds on the chicken. you dont bring out the sessame flavor a less you throw it on the wok! on the only plus side the crab rangoon was good, there fried rice was also crap. do what you want i dont like it.
Huge portions for a great price, we spent $23 and got enough food to eat for a week. The best general tso's I have ever eaten. Great crab rangoon, lomein and seaseme chicken. Their egg rolls are huge and seemed really fresh. We ate there tonight for the first time and will definitely be back again soon.
I love their crab rangoon. Its the best that i have had in a long time. It has the perfect amount of the filling in each piece. It is amazing with the sweet and sour sauce poured on top too. I also love the way they are folded, they look like flowers. Also, their general tso chicken (or sesame chicken for those of you who dont eat spicy food) has the right amount of batter on the chicken and it gives it the perfect crunchy texture. The sauce is amazing too. I always pour some sauce over the rice.
Best Chinese take out I have found!! I have been a regular at Mr. Wok since it opened about 14yrs. ago and have yet to find its equal. I actually go there so often that the owner and chef Kin started calling me Crazy Guy. His lunch special is 4.95 and is more food than any human should be able to eat in one sitting. Their Gen. Tso's and Sesame Chicken are unparalled. I also recommend the Kung Bo, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Curry Chicken... The list goes on. I have to admit that I do not care for the Szechuan Chicken sp? or the Hot and Spicy Chicken. He makes his own crab rangoon and dumplings. His soups are also very delicious. Most take out places I stay away from the soup but here the Wonton is a must for me. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.. Tell him Crazy Guy sent you and ask him about his buy one get one free coupons!
