We visited the Riverside location tonight and had a terrible dinner. The salsa was like tomato water, the chips were hard, and the food was cold. The wait staff was rude and never once came over to check on our food or drinks. I am not the type to post a complaint but I cannot let this go. I was a loyal customer but tonight I am questioning whether I'll ever return to El Vaquero again.
Authentic Mexican food with best Margaritas in town.
Dishes are a bit oily but still taste great. Reasonable pricing
Seafood dishes are better than any other mexican restaurant in town.
Mexican guitarists will come around once a while
El Vaquero is the only place in town where you can get a decent margarita, they often forget to put stuff that you ordered on your bill, and the service is lightening fast. It's worth the wait to get a table. I love, love, love it.
Great authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Try the cheese dip while you're there and order from their extensive menu with great choices like the burrito jalisco, burrito california or one of their taco-burrito combinations. They also have a brand new location in Hilliard off of Hilliard-Rome Rd next to Giant Eagle.
