Ate there recently for a birthday party. Not a one of us thought it was good. We all had the buffet and most of the meat were either over cooked or dried out from sitting out too long. Salad bar was very small. Not many choices for veggies. Rolls tough. Pies in pie case looked like they had been there for weeks. Expected better for the price of $10. Never again will any of us go there.
This used to be a nice restaurant. However, in the past few years, it has really gone down hill. My wife, son, daughter-in-law and I all opted for the buffet. It was $11.99. Tasteless chicken, instant potatoes and very limited salad selection. Not to mention, on a non busy night, our glasses stayed empty for about 20 minutes...so, service was also lacking. The chicken was just deep fried. Not only tasteless, it was over cooked. The bread was instant buns from Kroger. YUCK. I will say that the bread pudding was good. Overall, not a good experience. I used to make it a point to eat here when I was in Logan. Now, I will look to avoid it.
Overpriced!!! This is what we thought. They talk about a great buffet. There was nothing but Fried Chicken (Way overcooked), tough roast beef and bbq ribs. The sides were just average. No dessert selection, only bread pudding. It was definately not worth it. Should have opted for Arbys and would have paid half and actually enjoyed what I was eating.
Ok, we knew we weren't going to have as much restaurant choices in Logan as we do back home in Columbus. We wondered, however, if this restaurant might be something along the lines of Der Dutchman in Plain City, OH. Boy, were we wrong! Husband opted for the 'buffet' - basically fried chicken, green beans, green bean casserole, stringy beef, box mash taters, and a small salad bar. This was $11.99! I chose the Rueben platter, and was amazed how quickly it was brought out! Unfortunately, this showed in the pale uncooked fries. I was also unimpressed with the beef - it was tasteless and quite fatty. I really would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish we'd just grabbed some hamburgers from the Wendy's down the road.
