Shogun of Japan Steak House, Bowling Green

First of all, I freakin LOOOOVE this place. My boyfriend had taken me on our first date and it's where we go on all our date. I love the food! The service was GREAT! The prices may be a little high, but it's cheaper compared to other restaurants that offer the time entertainment... only it's better! We've went here for prom last year, and plan on going this year. I love it. They give you enough food to take home so you can have some lunch for the next day, and the food doesn't spoil fast like some others in other places. I just looove it.

COBE'S STEAK HOUSE IS NO COMPARISON, THEIR FOOD IS WAY OVER PRICED, THEY DON'T SHOW YOU ANY ENTERTAINMENT, AND THE FOOD IS GROSS!!!! SO PLEASE DON'T TRY AND COMPARE THE TWO CAUSE THAT IS INSULTING TO SHOGUN!!! THE COOKS AT SHOGUN ARE THE BEST IN FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT, AND KINDNESS. MY HUSBAND AND I GO AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK AND IT WILL REMAIN A FOREVER FAVORITE!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU SHOGUN!!!!

Okay, if you want to be entertained and sit around a hot grill and served average food. Worth a try but don't go if you don't love rice or if you want to have an intimate dinner or even a conversation at dinner. It's all about the presentation. Don't expect it to be like Kobe's in Nashville. The atmosphere and food quality aren't even close.

The first time we visited the restaurant was with a gift certificate. I had only been to one Japanese restaurant previously. This place was awesome! The food was just wonderful and the chef was so witty and funny. We have taken many people as guests since that first time and everyone has always raved about it. I have had salmon, chicken, & steak. Everything has been so tasty but the best is the rice and the white sauce they serve. The portions are great. I always go home with a "to go" box.

This place is GREAT!!!! Ive eaten here so many times and it is always good some of the chefs are a little more entertaining than others but on the whole it is always a 9 out of 10...you need to try this even if your not sure about this type of food

I have been to Japanese restaurants all over the Southeast and this is by far my favorite. All the hibachi cooks are super friendly and the portion are overwhelming. I never leave without taking a to go box. The white sauce is the best I've ever had.

This was a fun place. I had the Salmon,it was very good. The rice and yummy sauce was tasty. We will go back.
