Try any other Paducah restaurant first
We never actually ate here. When we walked in, there were three servers and another man chatting by the hostess station. The hostess was in the station itself. Absolutely none of them acknowledged us when we walked in. When we walked over to the hostess station, she said, “Two?” and came out with menus, leading us to a table against the wall near the bar. I think there were three other couples in the restaurant so there were plenty of empty tables. When I asked her if we could have a table near the window, she looked over to those tables and said, “Oh, OK.” When we sat down she said our server would be right over. The place had an unpleasant smell. I also didn’t get a good feeling about the lack of attention from the wait staff and I suggested to my husband that we leave. In the minute or two that we sat at the table, no one came over. The group stayed by the hostess station, chatting away. When we walked out, they continued to ignore us. No one asked us if anything was wrong or if they could help in any way. We wound up going back to Max’s, where we had a wonderful meal and even better service. And after reading many of the other reviews on this site, I'm very glad we didn't stay at C.C. Cohen.
