El Rio Grande

Description

If you want a fiesta, you'll find it at the family-owned Rio Grande, but it's a laid-back, lightly decorated place that doesn't force the theme. Families and groups of friends gather here for margaritas and the authentic Mexican fare. At Rio Grande, we take real pride in serving our guests authentic Mexican dishes made with the finest ingredients available. Like salsas made fresh throughout the day to ensure the ultimate in flavor, Guacamole prepared with only the freshest avocados and handmade tamales prepared daily in the traditional way for the best taste and to retain moisture. These are but a few of the efforts we make every day to bring you the real flavors of Mexico. The chips come with perfectly-spiced salsa, and you won't find a bigger or tastier plate of fajitas. The combo platters and quesadillas are great bets, too. Everything here arrives at your table giant, hot and too good to stop eating. Whether planning a cozy cocktail party for your business or celebrations of any kind, Rio Grande will provide a delectable array of Mexican and American delights that will not be forgotten.

El Rio Grande
By ,
A group of us went to RIO Grande on 5/10/2013 for lunch. We all ordered at the same time, then all food came out except mine. I waited, and waited, finally after everyone else was done eating my food finally arrived. I told the waiter at that point that I was no longer interested in eating, so they could have it back. I was still issued a bill for my food. I then asked to speak to a manager, but no manager was there, the person I spoke to said the manager wouldn t be in until 6:30 that evening. I asked if I could leave a phone number, but have yet to receive even a call back. I have tried calling twice since then, in both cases still no manager on duty. We should have learned from previous experiences, and not gone back as about 3 months ago a co-worker didn t receive his food until the rest of us were done, so this appears to be an ongoing thing with this place.

Best Mexican for the price around. Anytime we have a big group we go there. The prices are reasonable and they can work in bigger group fairly quick.

This one is a favorite amoungst my friends...

What Rio Grande lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for it in food. You must try anything with the queso sauce...especially on top the chimichanga..The entrees are huge & prices very small...Which to me is an award winning combination.

Smoke a dube then grub

Fire one down, then go get licquored up on the best priced/best tasting margaritas and Dos Equis drafts in town. Finally, once ripped, chow on the best Mexi food for miles. A single mixed fajita is cheap and feeds two to three people. Tear it up, dude.

Great food at reasonable price
By ,
This is one of the best and consistent mexican restaurants in greater Cincinnati. I have eaten many of the menu items and they are all fresh and tasty. Favorites include chimichanga, tamale, and my son loves the supreme burrito. Fried ice cream is a pretty tasty dessert. Margaritas are great on the rocks! All this at a reasonable price brings our family back at least once a month.

Great Food

The food was excellent yet affordable for the average lower-class family nowadays. The atmosphere is great.
