Was visiting Lexington and my wife and I thought we'd try this place. It was excellent! Service was great, the food came out fast and was hot. The over sized break stick was awesome. You can get one served with garlic butter or marinara sauce for dipping. I tried the Lasagna and my wife had a small pizza. We can't wait to come back to Lexington to eat there again.

Joe Blo's is a Lexington institution. Located in a renovated church, it still looks like a church complete with stained glass windows. It's not a great restaurant, but it is so much a part of Lexington that everyone should go there at least once. It succeeds as a pizzeria and sandwich shop, but fails as an Italian restaurant. Stay away from the pasta dishes and the salads and stick with the pizzas and sandwiches, and you'll do well.

Legendary Joe B's

I've been going to Joe B's since the early 70's. The bread sticks are awesome, as are the pizzas, and pastas, but I most always try a different pizza. Atmosphere is casual in a converted church. Expect a wait in the evenings, especially on weekends, but always has been worth it. College students and families alike go here. The bar area is not the main attraction, small, used mainly for waiting! Prices reasonable.

Awesome garlic bread sticks

You must get their famous bread stick. Pizza and other entrees are all good. It's located in a renovated church. Neat atmosphere. You can also eat on the balcony.

Joe Bs has been a Lexington institution for decades. It is my first choice for a large group, since everyone seems to like it. Joe Bs is great for lunch, if you can get there early enough to find good parking. Portion sizes are somewhat small, but not too bad for most people. The food quality is consistent but not outstanding. The service is always good.

Wonderful Place

The hard wood floors add to the feeling, along with the stain glass windows. The pizza was great, had a Garden Pizza, substituting the carrots for olives and adding mushrooms, it was like ordering my own custom pizza...

Good food at a great value

I had lunch here recently, and was pleased with the value. I got the manicotti lunch special, which came with a small salad and once of their huge breadsticks and garlic butter for around $7. The salad was nothing exciting, the manicotti was pretty good, the bread very fresh, but you can't beat it for the price. It's also a very pretty building with stained glass windows and a lot of energy.

Family Friendly

This business is top notch. They have great pizza and the yumiest bread sticks. There pasta is great too. Its great for the family, and with College being out for the summer, its not as crowded as usual too. They have one of the greatest pizza's in town. Try em their Yummy! PROS: Friendly family enviroment CONS: Gets pretty crowded on weekends.

What's not to love??

Joe B's (as it's affectionately known by the locals) is a pizza and pasta place, located in a historic church building with beautiful stained glass windows. The atmosphere is great, although expect families and college students alike to dine there, as it is in the middle of town and near a college campus. Start with a breadstick-- it's not your normal pizza place breadstick, it's like a miniature, fresh baked french loaf, served with warm garlic butter! And I'm sure the pasta dishes are good, but their round pizzas are their speciality... And if you still have room for dessert, try their turtle cheesecake, if they have it that day-- be warned that it's rich though! PROS: breadsticks, pizza, good service CONS: can get crowded on weekends
