They are wonderful people, My wedding cake top (for my anniversity) was destroyed when our freezer went out . I was so upset. I called and explained what happened and they made me a new one just like my wedding cake. I was able to pick it up the day of my anniverstiy and suprise my husband. Thank You to everyone at Thornberry s Deli . I ve been going there for cakes, pies and great food since I was very little. My Grandmother Loved your pies. Thank You for being a part of our family and always having the best cakes and pies in KY..

I had a friend at work tell me how good Thornberry Bakery was I was needing a cake for a birthday at work and started looking into it the day before I needed it and they was the only one that could make it just how I wanted it the cake was exactly how I asked them to make it and the moisture and taste was amazing friendly staff great cakes I think this is the best bakery in town

Heard some terrible news about the place today. My favorite cake lady is no longer working at the place. Even worse was the reason for her leaving. Her boss was watching x-rated videos on his computer while she was working. Its so sad that someone has to be put in this type of situation while on the job. Drug use and drug dealing was also mentioned. After hearing this unbelievable news I will never eat or purchase anything again from Thornberrys.

We hope you have tried all others in town so now you can and taste the best Louisville has to offer please try the ham "OMG" good!!! and the cookies are second to none "LOL" and yes I would know.

There are several places that like to use the word homemade but Thornberry Deli & Pie Shop is the real deal. From pies made from scratch to their soups and salads. Everything made on the spot daily. If you want to try something it is better to order because they sell out. You just do not see places like this anymore.

This bakery has the BEST pies in the world!!! Just have to get there early or order ahead. The chocolate is my favorite :)) Their ham salad is outstanding, too.

I LIKE IT CUZ IT'S LIKE GOING BACK HOME TO MOM'S HOUSE AND EATING GOOD FOOD THAT MAKES YOU FEEL AT HOME A LITTLE EXPENSIVE - IT TAKES ME ABOUT 6 BUCKS FOR A GOOD LUNCH- I WOULD EAT THERE MORE OFTEN IF IT WAS JUST A LITTLE CHEAPER

Best brownies ever!

My first time visiting Thornberrys was in last month..(February). I bought some cookies and a half cake. The cake was absolutely delicious!! The cookies were okay..they looked very soft, but when I actually bit into them they were harder than what I thought. Overall,...I give this bakery**** fourstars. ****
