The Grape leaf is simply amazing. I've had so many meals there and have yet to be dissapointed. I especially love their grilled mango salmon and their authentic moussaka. The servers are super friendly and very knowledgeable. The menu is one of the best when it comes to vegitarian options. I have also never had a better plate of hummus. Oh, and be sure to also notice the signature specials! Some of the best meals, like roasted lamb and Nabil's mixed grill, are located there. Everyone should eat at The Grapeleaf!!!
The humus is pretty good. Another place with good humus is the California Pizza Kitchen in Oxmoor. The Greek salads have lots of stuf in 'em. I usually get the chicken gyro dinner. I get it with a Greek side salad(good size) and lentil rice. The rice does tend to be dry but that's alright. The hot tea is good. The lamb burger is unimpressive. Prices are a little on the high side. Service is alright. Servers are slow on the refills. Take a sweater if you go. The place is uncomfortably cold in all seasons but the Summer.
their hummus is the best I've ever had & I've had a lot! I can say good things about the gyros, schwarma, salad & cauliflower-rice too...the lentil-rice tends to be dry. I would caution everyone who uses debit or credit to check their bill against statement as I've been overcharged on tip twice - or leave tip in cash.
This place was surprisingly good. I've never really had mediterainian food before, but because of this place it's now one of my favorites. They have lots of vegetarian dishes to choose from, and the atmosphere is really nice too. We went when we were the only ones there, and service was fast as expected. I have no idea what it'd be like when it's busy.
The food has a pleasant aftertaste, which I don't know is because of the restaurant or the type of food, but I like it :D
I went to the Grape Leaf for the first time last night,I have a cold right now and my taste was not what it normaly is,the food was soooo good,I cant wait to go back after Im over this cold.A very delightful place.
This place is a true delight to the senses. It is a small family owned place in a little historical neighborhood in Louisville KY. They have a diverse and authentic greek menu, and their servings are HUGE. All their food is fresh and yummy. I especially love their Avocado Dip, I didn't used to like Avocado's but what they do with them, created a lover out of me. The prices are reasonable, especially for the amount and quality of the food you get...I suggest anyone who enjoys Greek food, head there ASAP for some really excellent cuisine. However, bring your patience with you, cause sometimes service there is a little bit slow, as they don't have enough servers and they cook everything from scratch so it sometimes takes a little bit longer...OH and one more thing, their Turkish Coffee is DIVINE!!
