I ate here for the first time just the other day and it was amazing!! The food was reasonable and the service was excellent. I had the shrimp and catfish combo platter and it had large portions and was cooked perfect. I have absolutely no complaints with this place and I would return in a minute.
Not impressed! Visited on a relatively slow late lunch weekday and service was poor to say the least. My waitress wore a soiled uniform, the floors were dirty, and the short time it took my order to be delivered to my table cold was the end of my experience. Needs alot of upgrading to keep up with new quaint establishment opening along the growing Ocean spring area.
This is the first time since Katrina that I have been back into Ocean Springs but I had to go to Aunt Jenny's and I was not disappointed a bit. The waitress was very nice even thought we were a little scatterbrained. The shrimp was good as it always was very fresh and not overly battered. It is a family restaurant so go there knowing that. The bar downstairs was nice and cozy but it was a little on the smoky side. We would definitely return.
I love it!! Delicious food ,good price, great view! Every time we went, before Katrina of course, we would walk out on the deck and look at the bay. The devastating hurricane hit Mississippi. Despite what the papers and news channels say, Mississippi was hit by the hurricane and the water from Mississippi broke the wooden levies and it simply flooded Louisianna. Trust me I was in Biloxi on Keesler Air Force Base in a shelter when Katrina hit.
This restaraunt was chosen to have a party for 25 people. The service was very slow and poor. The meal was supposed to be all you could eat shrimp chicken, and fish but the portions were very small.
The price was too high for the value. I could have had comparable value at a much lower price at some fast food seafood places.
