Absolutely fabulous food! We had chicken with rice and the Shawarma sauce was to die for!!! The kids were begging to get some to go (on our way back to Nashville). It's nice to find great food that kids like too (and my kids are picky)!!! Definitely will be dreaming about until Mardi Gras next year!!!
We went here for our anniversary last week, November 3rd, and it was fantastic. The service is EXCELLENT! Its been a while since I have seen service that good. The food was really great too! I got the beef kabob and my honey got chicken. The beef was cooked medium well just as I requested and was wonderful! We also got some of the crab cakes, they were really good, but not quite as good as Bonefish Grill. (I think I just prefer the texture of lump crabmeat, this was a bit too creamy) However, it comes with a sauce and relish? salsa? or some sort of fresh garnish that is delicious.
Great flavorful authentic foods with large potions. Ambiance suitable to fine dining at affordable prices. All the professional locals seem to dine here or carry out for lunch. Ive patronized here twice for lunch and once for dinner. Service was consistently awesome and cuisine was exquisite to say the least. Very pleased and highly recommended!
This is a great restaurant, always packed. Lunch is probably best time to go - 11-12 or 1-2. Shawarma is delicious, but go for the Heart Healthy over rice. The specials are numerous, but I've never had to send something back because it wasn't good!!! The redfish special is wonderful. Salads and hummus are great. Nothing bad to say here.
The food was delicious. We’re no Greek connoisseurs, but we know what we like, and we love Phonecia. The steak kabob had a great flavor, and the sandwiches were great. The bread and hummus were super yummy.
The food was good, but I grew up in a Middle Eastern neighborhood and am Armenian & Greek. I would certainly eat here again, but would ask for a table away from the kitchen. Our table had a view right into the kitchen and it was very distracting to have the door to the bright, noisy kitchen constantly fling open into the dining area which was dimly lit for ambiance. The chicken shawarma was dry--even though the sauce that was poured over it was a bit oily. I will have to try something else, but the salads and sides were good. Be aware, they do not sell alcohol--so no wine with your meal. I wish that they would just stick with a Middle Eastern theme, I think that they are trying to be diverse with this pseudo global menu stuff. If I wanted more of a global menu I would go to Shaddy’s on Pass Rd. in Biloxi.
