Hartz Chicken Buffet, Ocean Springs

Best place to get fried chicken when you're craving homemade taste. Everything is absolutely delicious - from the vegetable side dishes to the cobbler desert. It's southern cooking done right! The green beans are seasoned perfectly. The potato salad has the perfect taste and texture. The coleslaw, mashed potatoes and white gravy, great northern beans, stewed tomatoes, mustard greens, corn, black-eyed peas, rolls; everything is great. For the more healthy eaters, the bar includes salad and baked chicken; but I wish you luck in keeping away from the more fatty, tasty foods. The sweet tea and ice cream (machine) is also great. The price for the buffet is about $9.00. For children 4-10, I think it's about half that price. You have to serve yourself, but that is fine by me. I love this place. It really reminds me of home! Available for take out and they have a drive thru for convienience.
