Bayview Gourmet, Ocean Springs

My friend and I went to eat here the other day. We just happened upon it. I loved it! Everything about it. My sandwich was delicious, my coffee perfect, and my leftovers were good later too. The food, I could rave about all day, but the thing I loved most about Bay View was the service. I was greeted genuinely, which was nice because it was kinda early. My waitress, amazing. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. I especially loved her Pig Tails. I'm someone who personally loves great customer service and because of the food and my waitress Britney, I will defiantly become a regular. Love it keep up the good work!

Bayview was once one of the best places on the coast to get a great breakfast, or meal in general but after my last two visits I have given up going there. The last time was for breakfast with my wife. My steak was nothing but fat and gristle. When I brought it to the waiters attention she simple picked up my plate and walked off, no apology, let me get you something else, simply grab the plate and walk off. Like I said this use to be a great place to go.

The Bayview Gourmet is great! The grilled rib eye steak sandwich,with sweet potato fries was tender and delicious! The sweet potato pancakes, sausage,and hash browns are wonderfull! All the workers there were nice and friendly!

Based on the wonderful reviews on this sight my husband and I decided to stop by for breakfast. While we enjoyed the atmosphere of this quaint little restaurant everything else fell short of our expectations. Although they were not terribly busy during our visit our meal took an extended amount of time and when it finally showed up we were a little surprised at the lack of presentation of our plates. What really dissapointed us was the food, my sons pancakes were runny inside and the fruit was so hard it was inedible. While we wanted to like this place based on all the rave reviews on this site we would have been much happier if the food would have lived up to our expectations.

Have been craving a delish salad from Bayview and boy did they deliver! The Delta Bluesy Salad is the bomb! Satisfied all my tastebuds... and what about that balsalmic vinegrette? The absolute best I have ever tried! Anyone with a healty concious should consider this place. EVERYTHING is homemade and cooked fresh to order. LV this place.

I love this place! Sweet potato pancakes here are amazing. Its great to have turkey sausage as a dietary option but this place takes it to another level with their special recipes. Fresh, clean and friendly! Everything on the menu is greatly flavorful and prepared distinctively original. Only complaint I have is that they are closed on my off day and should invest more on outdoor ambiance. The patio seems to attract more than current sitting can handle and summer insects are a hugh problem but it is the South..lol

My husband and I just came back from Ocean Springs and we had a delightful breakfast at the Bayview. The staff was very nice and was willing to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. They even preheated the coffee cups so that the mugs would not chill our coffee too fast. The food was very well prepared and pretty to look at as well as yummy. I can't wait to go back.

I took my mother here for Mothers Day brunch and it was the worst meal that I have ever had. The food was cold, the buffet a disaster, the food was not replinished on a regular basis. The price was way out of line, they charged my 3 year old daughter $9.95 for eating a few pieces of fruit and 1/2 rubber pancake. We should have demanded our money back. My dad has a restaurant and he never would have served such a mess, the sandwiches looked days old and none of the desserts were home made. I would not recommend this place or ever go back. It does bit even deserve a second chance. There is nothing good that I can say about this place except our waiter did a fine job. Sorry we did not choose a different restaurant

My husband and I love this place. We bring all of our friends and out of town guests to this restaurant. The food is consistantly good and fresh. I love the horn island breakfast with grouper and crabmeat and the coffee is soo good!

I recently had a wonderful brunch at Bayview Gourmet. The food was exceptional, the staff was friendly and helpful and the live music was a nice touch. Bayview is a hometown favorite and when we have friends and family in for a visit we love to go to brunch at Bayview. I heard they recently won Best Brunch on the Coast at the Covey awards. I think it was for the second or third time in a row.
