What an amazing place!! Nice country style setting. Finger licking food and you have to get the upside down sweet potatoe pie!

im from vancleave,where i thought we had the best bbq in town,until i went to lucedale and had the best food i have ever eaten, my hat off to hokies for haven the cleanest and no-smoking place ever i shall never go back to the shed where there is to many drunks running around and out of control. my family shall be back again.

HOKIES IS A VERY GOOD PLACE TO EAT, THEY HAVE THE BEST BARBQ AND THE POTATOE SALAD AND BAKED BEANS ARE GREAT BUT THE BEST THING THAT YOU WILL EVER PUT IN YOUR MOUTH IS THEIR PUMPKIN UPSIDE DOWN PIE.

This place is no good. Unless you want your food brought to your table quickly. The wait-staff is awful. That is unless you like pretty women fullfilling you every hunger need. Plus the people of Lucedale are just TOO nice, What's up with that? They have to be up to something, no town is that nice. Except that one. They call me sir. I'm 28 dang it. I shouldn't be called sir untill im 50. All and all, I guess I would go back if I got the chance. I do miss the stuffed baked potatoe, the 1/2 lb burger, and the bottled, cold drinks. :( I miss it all! *sniff* If you go there, ask for the sliding Root beer, tell them in memory of Lupe. -Guadalupe Lozano

this place is a must try. they have very good bbq. absolutely love the stuffed pulled pork potato with bbq sauce and the ribs are wonderful. try it for yourself

not only do they have great bbq, and great service, they have a potato salad to die for....i live in wilmer and work in new orleans, and you can believe i come home on hwy 26, so i can stop in at hokies...keep up the good work...
