Description

The master chefs at Bonsai know how to put on a good show and set a fine feast. Bring a group and grab a big table, then let these hibachi artists work their magic on steak, chicken, shrimp and vegetable selections. The teriyaki chicken might be the most popular choice for light diners, but a nice sushi menu provides some other light options. Several variations of saki head up an acceptable wine list, and full bar service is available. Reservations are recommended for groups of four or more to prevent your party from having to be split among tables.

This is a great place! The food has always been great each time we have visited Brandon. I would go time and time again. I love the pink sauce - it is the best that I have found. Great food and great service. If you go - you might need to be prepared to wait or you might need to go early!

While the food on the sushi side is fantastic, the friendlyness of the staff leaves something to be desired. Several times I have showed up at 1:55 before the 2pm closing time (having left work and enountering traffic) only to be denied service because "we close at 2. Sorry". Sad really because the sushi is fresh, wish the service was.

i have too say it is too americanized food was over cooked badly and not alot of flavor allthough you got fed well and not very pricey we would not return no compatishtion too shogun no chop sticks and no hood vents for the smoke all and all disapointing.

I enjoy going to Bonsai

Bonsai is my favorite restaurant. The people were very pleasant and nice. The food is very good and the pink sauce is delicious with the rice.

Best japanese resteraunt i have ever eaten at!!! If you are in Jackson and are looking for somewhere to eat, this is the place. Even though the wait for a table is pretty long, its worth it! The price is kinda high, but you get a large quanity of food... And dont forget the pink sauce or extra salad dressing! sesame seed sauce = seafood non-sesame seed sause = steak

Bonsai Japanese Steakhouse

Bonsai is a wonderful Japanese steakhouse. The food is fantastic and the chefs put on an amazing show. I love their sushi as much as food from the hibachi grill. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the service isn't the greatest, mostly noticed during dinner. I do agree that prices are much more reasonable at lunch, but they are by no means expensive especially for the type of food and atmosphere.

Wonderful experience

I've been to Bonsai for lunch and dinner, and have really enjoyed myself each time. The prices are a little more reasonable at lunch, but can get a little pricey at dinner. However, the cooks are excellent and put on quite the show! We've really enjoyed ourselves every time we've been.

I personally did not like Bonsai. The food was over cooked and it took forever to get a table. Compared to the few other Japanese restaurants in the state, I rate this one as one of the lowest.

Try the Hibachi steak and shrimp. Don't forget to ask for pink sauce. It tastes great on everything! This is an awesome restuarant! I haven't been to one that can top it yet!
