Description

Would you prefer to use chopsticks or a fork? Either way, just dig into the best tempura teriyaki, sukiyaki or sushi this side of Japanor at least the best in Jackson. The food became so popular here that a second restaurant was built at 876 Avery Blvd in Ridgeland (+1 601 991 3800) to meet the public demand. The decor at both restaurants is simple, comfortable and attractive. Liquor, beer and wine are served at both locations.

A great experience
By KyskieB, 3/16/07
I loved the food, the ambience was nice, and they have good prices. I'll go back again and again. Its great for a family or a date. I like the option of the bar, the sushi bar, or my own personal grill.

Sushi gem of the south
By Puck, 2/1/07
I've eaten at many sushi restaurants throughout the country and this has to be one of the best in the country. The food is reasonably priced; large range of choices; great bar and friendly atmosphere.

A great place to eat
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/06
I looooooove the food! This place is also pretty clean, and the service is very good. They might want to do something about the music. It would be really great to eat and relax to some authentic Japanese music. Still, the place is my favorite. Whenever I have a special occasion, I know where to go. Thanks!

good food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/2/05
Good food but poor service. It will make you feel unappreciated, especially considering the fact that the food is expensive. Better value if you visit during the lunch hours. I visit often.

keeps us coming back for more
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/4/05
Little Tokyo will stand up against any sushi restaurant anywhere. I've been to Nobu in San Francisco and Suntorry in Atlanta and neither can beat Jackson's own little sushi place. When my daughter came home from an extended trip abroad, all she wanted when she got home was sushi from Little Tokyo. Don't forget that they will put together a sushi boat, loaded with all your favorites, for a fun evening at home. All in all, great value, great service, great food.

Japanese? I don't think so...
By Hallcyon, 10/31/05
The service was horrible, the food was not what we ordered (and awful), nor did they even attempt to accomadate nor answer any of our requests (we, being 'nice' regardless of this type of service) or questions properly if at all. basically ignored and then they asked for a large tip! Avoid at all costs.. I'd rather eat bad chinese and get sick.

BEST SUSHI in the SOUTH
By Anne, 9/26/05
If you want sushi the way it is supposed to be served then Littel Tokyo is where you need to eat. I have eaten sushi in New York, San Fransisco, Seattle and Austraila.Short of getting on a plan to Japan this is the best around. Tthe atmosphere is warm, inviting. and the staff friendly and helpful.
