I had the pleasure of dining at Russells. I looking for a nice eatery. Went to Russell was very happy with the food and the service. The steak was cooked perfectly. The staff was a awesome. Please if you are ever in Corinth please dine with them. You will be glad you did.
Awesome food....as good as, if not better than Como Steakhouse, which used to be my favorite....but this one has made that a tie for first.! Want to go back soon...Food was delicious...service good...and price was definitely less.
If you eat supper at one restaurant in Corinth make it Russell's. I was there last Wednesday after touring the Shiloh battlefield. If we'd gone there Monday night, our first day touring the battlefield, I doubt we would have eaten anywhere else.
The steaks are cooked over coals in front of you, and they know what rare means (funny how many people don't know that). I skipped the salad bar knowing my 16 oz. steak and huge baked potato would fill me up. As somebody else posted the bread was very tasty.
The staff was very friendly even when working hard- it's a popular place. Our waitress was a dish but a very professional dish at that. She was nice to a couple of Yankees from Chicago and Phoenix. The lady at the cash register (Mrs. Russell?) was also very nice. I bought a mug to remember the place by.
In Chicago we have many great steak houses and I would put Russell's up against any of them.
Not horrible, but if you are looking for a high quality steak, drive to Tupelo, or Jackson. If you just want a steak, and don't care what it's like, this will suffice. Steak was extremely fatty. Sauce was excellent though. Worth a try, but not an every time deal!
no one can deny the quailty of food at russells, you may wait a long time in line but you know the steak is worth the wait. If its steak your looking for, this is the place in mississippi. YThey season witrh a speacial sauce or flavor, and grill it over open pit fire. They have recently had a firee but are building back and personally I cant wait for them to return hurry hurry! Yum YUm...
