We have eaten at Ruby Tuesdays many times but since moving near the one in Crossville Tn, we have decided to NEVER go back again! The menu is set in such a way that if you order item 1, you can add other things for a small price (for instance, order fish and get a side of shrimp on the side for ** amount of dollars), anyways, they have on the right side of menu one way to add things and on the left side of menu a DIFFERENT set of sides to add. We ordered steak and added a 1/2 rack fo ribs (essentially ordering the steak form the left and the ribs from the right), all seemed fine until we got the bill and it showed an extra $20 for the ribs. We asked our waiter who was very nice and he got a girl to come over and explain. BOY did she ever, she came to the table and began talking to us like we were 2nd graders and speaking very loudly. She exaplined that you cannot order from the right and get an item from the left for a small charge. Even the waiter rolled his eyes at her behavior and speal.
I dont know any 2nd grader who can pay for a $90 meal, so I would appreciate being spoken to like a guest, not a child. I will not give this place anymore of our money or time. I suggest you AVOID this place!
WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO RUBY TUESDAY AGAIN. THE SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET IS EXORBITANTLY OVERPRICED. $2.39 FOR COFFEE IS OUTRAGEOUS. MY OMELETTE WAS ADEQUATE AT BEST AND THE POTATO CUBES (WHICH WERE FROZEN AND NOT FRESH) WERE LUKEWARM AND TASTELESS.
THE PARFAIT CONSISTS OF MAYBE A 1/4 CUP OF YOGURT AND 1 TABLESPOON OF GRANOLA. THIS WAS SERVED IN A GLASS THAT WAS 4 TIMES TOO LARGE FOR THE QUANTITY OF PRODUCT SERVED. MAYBE THEY DO THAT TO CREATE THE ILLUSION THAT YOU ARE GETTING MORE THAN YOU REALLY ARE. IF SERVED IN THE PROPER SIZE GLASS IT WOULD BE A RIDICULOUS JOKE. THE BISCUITS WERE EXTREMELY SMALL, NO BUTTER WAS SERVED AT THE TABLE AND NO OFFER TO REPLENISH THE BISCUITS. I ALWAYS THOUGHT A BRUNCH BUFFET WAS WHERE YOU COULD GO THROUGH A BUFFET LINE AND TAKE WHATEVER YOU WANTED. NOT SO HERE. WE WERE OFFERED THE SALAD BAR IN LIEU OF THE PARFAIT FOR AN ADDITIONAL .99 CENTS. WE DECLINED AND OUR BILL WAS STILL ALMOST $32.00.
CRACKER BARREL, WE ARE SORRY WE MISSED YOU THIS SUNDAY. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK NEXT WEEK. THEY HAVE BETTER FOOD, MORE OF IT AND ALL AT A MUCH BETTER PRICE. MAYBE THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR NAME ON A WAITING LIST THERE. WE WERE THE ONLY 4 PEOPLE IN RUBY TUESDAY UNTIL ONE OTHER COUPLE FINALLY SHOWED UP ALMOST AN HOUR LATER.
VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED.
WE WILL NEVER BE BACK TO ANOTHER RUBY TUESDAY AFTER TODAYS EXPERIENCE. WE TOOK OUR FRIENDS OUT FOR BREAKFAST AND DECIDED TO HAVE THE BRUNCH AT RUBY TUESDAYS AFTER ALL WE HAVE DROVE FROM CHATTANOOGA, TN TO CROSSVILLE WE WERE ALL STRAVING. THE COFFEE TASTED LIKE INSTANT PLUS IT WAS NOT HOT AFTER TWO COMPLAINTS THE MANAGER COMES BACK AND BUT DID NOT OFFER TO REMOVE THE PRICE FOM OUR MEAL, THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE THE NEW CHICKEN BELA OMLET HAD 4 PIECES OF CHICKEN THE REST MUSHROOMS THAT OVER POWER THE OMLET MAYBE A 1/2 CUP OF POTATOES BISCUITS SIZE OF A QUARTER THAT WERE SO HARD THEY CRUMBLE WHEN YOU TRIED TO PUT BUTTER ON THEM. THE BILL WAS OVER $60.00 AND THE FOOD WAS NOT WORTH A $1.00. WE DID NOT CAUSE A SCENE BECAUSE THAT IS NOT OUR CHARATER. BUT IF I HAD IT TO DO OVER I WOULD BECAUSE IT WAS TERRIBLE.
We went for dinner, arriving about 4:30 pm, before the rush! We had a nice booth and our waitress, Adrian, was busy but checked in on us a few times. The side order of crisp onion straws and cole slaw was a joke- they stopped serving cole slaw and the onion straws were cold and greasy. Cole slaw was replaced with another side and a fresh order of onion straws came hot but still greasy! We had prime burgers - both were good! But the ones hot off the grill at home are better tasting! I would not order the burgers again. And the endless fries, did not exist - Adrian never offered us more fries! For the price of the two burgers, one side and 2 drinks, we could have had a better meal somewhere else. We won't be visiting this location again for a while.
Sorry, but this was not the best value for our money!
Wow, I can't believe the selection and the saladbar. Thought it would be pricier, but there really is a wide range of priced items and the quality was outstanding! Server took great care of us, We'll be back!
The last time we ate here was a miserable experience. We were insulted by a waitress who was undisguisably high, we had a long wait for food that was neither what we ordered nor very good (we ate it anyway; it seemed pointless to prolong the ordeal), and the place was, frankly, not very clean. If you're eating here just to avoid having to wash dishes, you're better off grabbing a loaf of bread and some fruit from the grocery store.,
This is one of the WORST places to eat in Crossville. The food is HORRIBLE. I have been there 3 times all 3 times the food was bad the services was bad and the prices were outrageous. This food would be turned down by a goat. And they will eat anything.
i use to like it here, but they have changed the menu for the worst.no more turkey sandwiches and no more salsa and chips.they have added some new things like a avacado tortilla[nasty dont waste your money].too me it only got higher priced.i dont go here eny more.for a family of 4 you need to win the lottery to pay your bill.
