Mauricio's Italian Restaurant, Cookeville

Mauricios is a great restraunt. My favorite is the Spinach and Roasted Garlic. Very peaceful atmosphere and the owners are so friendly. Workers are very quick and nice. I go here at least three times a week!

This is the most romanktic and lovely restaurant I have had the pleasure to enjoy! The Food is so Goooooooooooddddddddd.... my yearly anniversary is always here on the Jan 31st.. The best all around the area hands down Italian Food !

This is the best date place in Cookeville. It's a bit expensive but way worth it for a special occasion. It's in an old house, and the food is wonderful. They had the best appetizer I ever tried, fried olives! It was a very quiet atmosphere, lights down low, and they even have a room with a fireplace. My husband and I got to be by the fire when we went, I loved it! Make reservations, they only have so much space, and I hear they get booked up quick on holidays. We will definately be going back for Valentine's Day, Our Anniversary and my birthday.

This is one of the best places in the state of TN to eat. It is also my favorite. I have eaten in Italian restaurants from NY to California and it is by far one of the best. Mike and Monty have done an excellent job establishing a class A eatery with a unique atmosphere in a small town. If they were in NY, ATL, LA, Dallas or some other 'big' city, we would hear about them on national t.v. and radio spots. We are very blessed to have them here in good ol' Cookeville, TN.

They have made an old house into an elegant experience. The owner thinks nothing of coming out to spoil you. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is highly trained. The food is exquisite. As someone who is food quality certified, I hope am qualified to describe it that highly to everybody.

The moment you walk through the front door, you are immediately surrounded by charm, at Mauricio’s Italiano Ristorante. The owners, Monty Ethridge and Michael Robideau have gone out of their way to bring decor that enhances the mood and beauty of the architecture in Mauricio’s Italiano Ristorante. The entrance door is often opened for you, and you are warmly greeted, by one of the two owners, Monty Ethridge, or Michael Robideau. Each wall is decorated to evoke a sense of relaxation and beauty. The entryway is decorated with lovely paintings, photos, and antiques, which add to the charm. Each of the dining rooms, within Mauricio’s, is individually decorated, to evoke a feeling of warmth and charm. From floral paintings, to white cloth table coverings, accented with black napkins, each dining table is set for dining, within an atmosphere of quaintness mood. Larger parties can be accommodated easily, at Mauricio’s. If you enjoy excellent Fine Italian Food, prepared to perfection, with flair and presentation, and dining in an atmosphere of warmth, ambience, and romantic decor, you will not be disappointed, at Mauricio’s. The enchanting decorations, and the warmth of the owners and staff, is beyond compare. In my opinion, Mauricio’s Italiano Ristorante, is the best dining establishment in the Upper Cumberland area, and compares equally with any Italian restaurant in major TN cities. Excellent food and exceptional service! Each dining room is unique and quite charming with a fireplace adding a warm ambiance ....definitely for the romantics!!! What a great dining experience! It was worth the trip from Canada! Intimate setting, staff very friendly and helpful, be sure to ask for the tour. Food portions were ample and expertly prepared & presented. Excellent wine selection. Very good value! We will definately be back!! Pete...Canada

The chef is of world caliber, The atmosphere is laid back, Prices are in line with others in town. If you can find it, it will be well worth the effort. PS. Beats Olive Garden hands down!
