El Vaquero, Paris

Elvaquero USED to be the best mexican food in town. Their service has gone down hill.. On 10-1-10 I called my order in at 4:15 pm to be picked up at 5:15 pm. ( I still have the receipt), When I arrived at 5:17 pm my order have not even been sent to the back. The "little" girl at the register commented that so&so never sent the order to the back to be made. She did not look at me while she said this she did not offer an I am sorry for the mistake, did not offer to get me a soda while I waited, NOTHING. As I repeated my order to her, I still ended up without the queso dip I requested. The food was not near as good as it had been in months past. My husband & I have decided we are giving Lalos a try. Maybe their customer service will keep us coming back.

This is the best Mexican food I've had in Tennessee. I travel to Paris almost every weekend to come here.

Great food, good prices. The waiter talked too fast, as well as rolled his eyes. He was a bit annoying, but the food was worth his lack of manners.

Food is great, prices are very affordable, staff always friendly. But if you get embarrassed easily, whatever you do don't let who your with tell them it's your birthday, they will come to your table and plop a hat on you and start singing to you!!! funny when its someone else! Nice place to go!!

This is yet another place I must eat at whenever I come home. The food is great and the staff is very energetic and friendly. If you're in the mood for great Mexican food and a friendly and relaxing atmosphere come here!

We go there at least twice a month. We have never been disappointed. Great food, great service, and a family atmosphere. What more can you ask for? Price, no complaints there, well worth what you pay.

El Vaquero is hands down, my favorite Mexican restaurant this side of the Mississipi. They offer an authentic Mexican menu - not tex-mex, and have a lot of New Mexican items on it as well. Chili rellenos cooked the way they are supposed to be, high quality ingredients, hot food and excellent service, all add up to a very special dining experience. Their new location is very spacious, and designed to look like the courtyard of a mexican villa - simply gorgeous. All of this and low priced meals make for the very best experience in Mexican dining in the area. PROS: excellent ingredients, authentic mexican food CONS:

I would recommend this place to anyone. Everything is awesome about it. The food, the service, and the people are great. Sit and enjoy a great meal at a great price and be waited on by the most friendly people ever. If you come to Paris you do not want to pass this place up!!!!!!!

Every time we eat here we are always pleasently suprized. The food is always great!!
