I love to sing and I have been going to Karaoke Bars for 20 years. I have been to the Windjammer many times. (FYI: They have been voted #1 Karaoke bar by The Memphis Flier for 2 years or more. 15 years ago I saw the same person singing several times and complained. The DJ apologized and said every customer has the right to request a song. If a customer has 3 friends, and each puts in a request, together or within a few minutes, (before you) they can share 4 songs in a row or over a period of time, (1+3 = 4. 4 people/4 songs). Then add multiple groups, and add singers who sing great or whom are popular. People who don 't know these singers ask them to sing with them. Most KJ/DJ's will tell you how many songs are before your song and you can figure about 10 - 12 songs an hour, (10 singers = 50+minutes, 30+ singers = 3 hours).
