BB's is by far a place to loose all track of time. One of my best friends and I spent an entire Sunday in there! During the Memphis in May festival, we ate lunch and supper, saw three music acts, had two different waiters and sat in two different sections! I won't eat ribs anywhere else. Nobody else's compares. The atmosphere is incomparable and they sing the blues into the early hours of the morning there. It doesn't matter if you're young or old. The staff is friendly, the music is always great and you never know who will be there. It's the place to be on Beale.
The atmosphere is so pure! The music was wonderful and the people there were just great. The only thing I can say is that our waitor was a bit laxed... but i guess that comes with the territory. Overall though.. I LOVE IT!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! THE PEOPLE, THE ATMOSPHERE, THE MUSIC EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS ABOVE AVERAGE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE ELSE THAT I HAVE ENJOYED LIKE HERE. I'M PLANNING MY VACATION FROM NOW ON TO GO BACK TO B.B.KING'S PLACE! I WOULDN'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
LOVE IT! I'LL SEE B.B.KING'S PLACE IN OCTOBER FOR MY BIRTHDAY!

In March ?? '99, I saw the Chris Duarte Group @ B.B.'s place. It was not my 1st time visiting as i had seen Larry Carlton sometime in '97. What amazed me was this... The Conference USA basketball tourney was being held in Memphis @ the Pyramid. The #1 seeded Cincinnati Bearcats had just been upset and Bearcat fans were pouring in from all over to vent their frustrations. Chris did not disappoint them. Jaws were dropping all over the place(people kept saying he's the closest thing to Stevie Ray Vaughan they'd ever heard/seen.) My point is this: you never know who/what/when/where/why will show up @ B.B's place..in my case i was @ the right place @ the right time. Good Ribs(Rendevous is a close 2nd, THEN Corky's.)
