Description
Corky s BBQ specializes in slow-cooked, Memphis-style barbecued meat and ribs. The restaurant uses both open and closed barbecue pits with hickory chips and charcoal to cook meats at low temperatures. Its menu features pork shoulder, chicken, sausage, beef brisket, tamales and spaghetti. Corky s BBQ serves fries, cole slaw, baked beans and potato salad as side items. The restaurant s desserts include fudge pie and peach cobbler. It sells party packs and bulk items, as well as caters special events for businesses, churches, schools and civic organizations. The interior of Corky s establishments showcase barn wood walls, neon signs, polished brass and aged brick. The restaurant was established in 1984 and has two locations in Memphis.
I love the BBQ beef sandwich, especially when I want some BBQ quick. Weird that it has a drivethrough and is a restaurant, but I'm glad. My husband loves their spagetti.
I know my BBQ and i like corky's BBQ OK but my thing about corky's is that you can buy their BBQ and ribs in the frozen section at Walmart, so what makes it all that special. Dont get me wrong it is good but not the best
Ok I've lived in Memphis TN, about 10 months now and i have eaten at a lot of places, but the BEST ribs I have ever had I got from Corky's Bar B Q. Now I lived in Georgia for 11 years before moving here and I have eaten a lot of ribs, but nothing I have tasted compares to these ribs for flavor & tenderness.. Wether you have them dry or with Corky's famous sauce they are a must have if you are ever in Memphis... The service is excellent also very prompt, curteous & friendly.. P.S. if you have room for dessert try the Peach Cobbler ala Mode.... Damn good Eatin'
We found the food very good. Wonderful ribs and pork. Service was very good. Must try when in Memphis. The staff was fun to talk to and helpful. I will be back!
We are from a small town in Oregon and were on vacation in the Memphis area. Our hotel recommended Corky's for good barbeque. We were simply delighted with Corky's from the moment we arrived. My husband does not usually care for ribs but we both devoured our whole plate. I can hardly wait for another trip to Memphis so we can indulge our food fantasies again. Thank you Corky's.
Corkys has the best BBQ pork anywhere. Anytime I am in the area I go to Corkys to eat. Being from the south I have had lots of different BBQ and nothing holds up to Corkys. I love to get the BBQ nachos. It is a meal in itself and no one makes nachos like they do. If you go to Memphis YOU must try Corkys!
