On November 20, 2011-- I went to Corky's in Memphis on Poplar Ave with the wife. We were first seated near a swinging door to the employees coat or locker room near the kitchen. Employess continued to come and go in and out while we were seated here. Our waitess was very slow and once she took our order and return it to our table. We never got any other service from her until we inquired with a so call Manager for help with wet towels and to pay our ticket. The waitess was working very slow and our wait for refreshments and paying our check was very long. The food was so,so. Some ribs were juicy and tender, Some were very dry and over cooked. We will never return to this Corky's again. We live in Memphis and this was the first time we have been treated bad at a Cork'y. The staff was very uncaring about the customers. Stood around joking and talking about NFL games and horse playing with each other. Our ticket came to over $30.00. The service was only worth $1.00. I would not recommend this Corky's to any one. Based on customer service...

We eat here a few times each year. Always great dry rub ribs. We got some tough ones one time, and they fixed the problem right away. Great Service

I ate at Corky's the past Labor Day weekend while in Memphis and had to say that it was awesome. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved all of the pics of celebs that have eaten there. The only bad part is that I don't know when I will be coming back to Memphis again.

TOTALLY GROSS. I went to the Corky's in Evansville, Indiana casino boat and was disapointed. Heard such great things on the travel channel and it doesn't even come close to what they rant and rave about. I grew up in Kansas City and so far KC BBQ is the BEST!! I guess it all depends on what you are used to.

I contracted Corky's to cater to another venue while in Memphis. The venue was HORRIBLE! BUT Corky's was FANTASTIC!!!! Their servers had everything set up on the buffet and serving everyone within 5 minutes. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! The servers were friendly, fast, and gracious. If you need to have your event catered in the Memphis area go with Corky's you won't be disappointed!!!

Corky's Bar-B-Q is middle of the road.

Corky's is OK. Im from here and not a fan. Their BBQ is not great yet not bad either,I guess its middle of the road. The best thing here, I believe, is the tamales. There is better BBQ in Memphis, go explore, you will love the taste challenge.

Corky's is the best bar b que I have ever had I deciede to get my ribs dry and they were geat. I then sprinkled some of the original sauce on them .They were to die for. My grandson (17) ordered the pulled pork it was so good after the first bite,we just looked at each other we were so shocked. We have tried every bar b que place in kansas city etc. We bought home 7 bottles of rub and 7 bottles of original sauce. We had to re-pack to fly home just to bring them and willingly paid the@15.00 checked bag. and even left a few thing we could live without so rub and sauce would fit. sorry I did not get a case of each.I'LL ORDER MORE BY MAIL. FAMILY LOVED THAT WE BROUGHT SOME HOME.BUT,WE ALL WANT M O R E !!!!!

It's been two years since I've ate at Corky's, yet I can recall the very second my lips wrapped around those ribs! Their food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a half/half order of wet and dry ribs. I prefer the dry because it had more flavor, but the wet was just as tasty. It's a must that you try their hushpuppies. Without a question, their hushpuppies are to-die-for! With good food must come great service. I still remember the server's name..Thomas! I didn't have to ask for anything! He simply read my mind with every request that I had.

This is reference to the Corky's in Flowoodm MS. We ate there tonight (9/14/08) and it was terrible! Don't know what happened in the past few months, but the service was poor, only one working and the food was cold and not good tasting. We will NEVER return and it will not make it if this is the quality of food and service. My plate was smeared with sauce all over the bottom and I'm not sure it was clean. The brisket was dry and tough. The mashed potatos were instant and cold served in a small styrofoam cup. The blackeyed peas in a like cup, were bland and everything was cold. We had a party of five and all were dissatisfied with their food. What a shame! It used to be so good!

Very Good! We were in Memphis this past weekend, we went to Corky's on Saturday night, so of course it was very busy! The wait was a little long but definietly worth it! Even though the resturant was packed...we received our food very quickly! Definitely recommend!!!
