Do not let the unlikely location put you offthe specialties here are worth it. This place is a Memphis tradition, and you may have to fight the regulars for a table or a seat at the counter. The barbecued Cornish game hens are the specialty here, perfectly cooked and succulent. Other choices include ribs and pork sandwiches. Cozy Corner is indeed cozy, but also casual. Everything is served on paper platesthe plastic cutlery can make eating a bit of a struggle, but fingers are allowed. No smoking is allowed in the restaurant, and no alcoholic beverages are served.

made my stressful vacation to Memphis worth while. noticed Miss Desiree on my way out the door and had to say hello. Super sweet lady and very humble. She praised her 4 generations of family for great bbq. I loved the sweet sauce w/ a kick on the ribs (cooked perfectly). I also tried a wing, delish. If nothing else, go for the atmosphere, you never know u may be sitting next to any fbi agent :) It in the restaurant and u may get a fork. Very bare min. tables..napkins only. No condiments here!

Best ribs in Memphis or the solar system for that matter. It's really hard to order anything but the ribs, they are that good, but I hear the Cornish Hen is great. Maybe someone will give me a bite one day. Anyway, nice family run restaurant that has weird hours. Get there before it gets dark.

Dont let the plasticware fool you!

You very basic restaurant, complete with basic services. But they have FANTASTIC food! Paper and plastic dinnerware do not take away from the FANTASTIC BBQ!

Recently I went to Cozy Corner to purchase a 1/2 gallon of barbecue sauce.The weekend prior to my visit, my wife purchased rib plate's to-go.The sauce that I purchased was not the same sauce! Furthermore,for $16.99 I would have perfered to do buisness with one of the four adult's at the counter opposed to a eight year old child.Leave the child at home and assign an adult to the cash register!......Good Food....Awful Customer Service.

Instantly one of my Top 5

Cozy Corner's sliced pig sandwich puts it instantly among my Top 5 BBQ purveyors. The see-through smoker lets you watch your food bathe in smoky deliciousness. Try a side of the barbecue spaghetti while you're there. It's unusual and good.

Best Ribs In Memphis

When you see where the location of this place and the looks of the building, you'll probably pass it by and when you do, you'll miss out on a real treat. Everything beyond the location and the looks are first class. The BBQ is the best in town. Pick anything on the menu, you won't find better. Great food, service and value, best in town............

The best ribs ever !!

This is my personal favorite BBQ of any where in the world. I always make it a stop when I come to Memphis. the Cornish Hen diner is the highlight of the menu and the ribs are to die for.

I LOVE Cozy's Ribs. They are the most succulent, spicy, delicious, tender, and tasty ribs I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. It is easy to tell they are cooked very carefully with lots of love and attention. Cozy Corner is a must-try. The family that runs this business is awesome as well. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The Wheelers (B&C)

Best in ANY TOWN

Cosy Corner uses the best of ingredients for their bar-b-que. Write this down...smoke, time, tongue tingling sauce, meat of your choice. Believe me there is no skimping on any listed ingredient!
